I took a great sounding dynamic element and mated it with a Neutrik impedance matching transformer, a smooth, high quality volume pot, a PureTone constant contact 1/4″ TS jack, and a lightweight 3D printed shell based on the classic Astatic JT30 bullet mic. The result is a harmonica microphone that sounds great, is comfortable in your hands when cupping a harp, looks pretty good, and is reasonably priced.

With a 3D printed shell, the Hollow Point is not only about a third of the weight of a vintage pot-metal JT30, you can also choose to have both the shell and grille printed from dozens of colors, including metallics, sparkle, iridescent hues, glow-in-the-dark, and UV luminescent, in your choice of both easy to grip matte finish or gloss clearcoat that make the colors really pop. With nearly two thousand color combinations you can have a mic that makes a unique visual statement on stage.
