Spotted at the 2025 Woodward Dream Festival at the M1 Concourse facility north of Detroit, this is one of a number of cutaway chassis displays that General Motors made to publicize the 1965 Corvette. Corvette enthusiast Curt Simlik purchased it and duplicated the motorized display stand that spins the wheels (which appears to power the spinning drivetrain via the rear axles and differential) and activates the suspension. Among the cutaway components is a rare fuel injection setup. I wonder how many Corvette collectors wish GM hadn’t sliced up that FI unit.
