According to data from the China Chamber of Commerce of Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, in the first ten months of 2006, China exported vehicles to 185 countries and regions. The top five importing countries were Russia, Iran, Belgium, Syria and Algeria. Russia's imports grew the fastest, up 290% over the same period last year. Asia is still China's biggest export market for vehicles. China exported 120,185 vehicles in the first ten months with a value of $1.104 billion. Exports to Europe grew the quickest, increasing 207% over the same period last year, with the major increases being to East Europe and Belgium… In December, Chinese brand sedans made their first entry into Europe when 3,000 Brilliance Auto Zhonghua sedans were imported by the HSO Auto Trading Company. HSO will be the general agent for Zhonghua sedans in several European countries, including Germany.
